Philosophy

Molly believes in a client centered, patient led approach when it comes to psychiatric care. Patients will have the best outcomes when they build strong, trusting therapeutic relationships with their providers.

Molly spends extensive time during assessment to try to understand her patients in a holistic way and not simply as a list of diagnostic criteria. She believes that mental, physical, and spiritual health are interconnected and that each deserve attention during assessment and when deciding upon treatment modalities together.

She believes that the relationship between provider and patient needs to be rooted in a non-judgmental, safe space and that any decisions regarding treatment should be researched-based and mutually agreed upon with her patients. She prides herself on empowering and educating patients to make their own decisions about their mental health care.

Professional History

Molly received a BS in Psychology with a minor in Biology from Seattle University in 2012 and started her masters program within a month of graduating. She graduated again from Seattle University with her MSN in 2015 and became a board certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner with a focus in addiction. She has 8+ years of direct clinical experience in a range of settings including crisis outreach, partial inpatient community mental health, outpatient mental health, and management of medical teams. She continues to complete appropriate continuing education to keep her board certification and her active RN and ARNP license in the state of Washington.
