Dr. Crosby is passionate about nurturing the body's inherent systems to optimize mental, physical, and emotional well-being. She believes that through compassionate listening and partnership, patients can identify the behaviors that will bring their lives into balance. Developing creative solutions to daily health obstacles is of particular interest to Dr. Crosby, who believes that every individual can develop skills to promote wellness and thrive. With a strong background in nutrition education, Dr. Crosby is well-versed in many therapeutic diets, most notably those for gastrointestinal complaints, and provides strategies with a focus on intuitive eating practices and body positivity.
Professional History
Dr. Crosby grew up as a competitive athlete and discovered that diet impacted her performance above all. This led to her pursuing degrees in wellness, earning two bachelor's degrees, in Nutrition and Exercise Science, and a master's in Exercise Physiology and Nutrition from Montana State University in Bozeman. Before moving back to her hometown of Seattle to pursue natural healing degrees, she worked as a nutrition educator. She then attended Bastyr University in Kenmore, Washington, earning her doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine and master's in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. She has completed trainings in Craniosacral therapy and Visceral Synthesis techniques. Her focus during her professional training was gastrointestinal health and mind-body medicine.
