Philosophy

Dr. Gochberg's philosophy of care is centered on a commitment to finding a path forward through pain and distress by harnessing your own inner wisdom. She works with you to build health by stabilizing acute concerns while uncovering and healing the underlying causes behind your distress. Her approach to care strongly emphasizes the foundations of health: environment, healthy diet, physical activity, sleep habits, community and fellowship, spiritual connection, and meaning. Her specialties include a focus on stress, trauma, sleep, and relationships, addressing these areas from a perspective of value-centered living. Although Dr. Gocheberg manages prescription medications and other supplements, she has a strong philosophy in food as medicine and sustainable lifestyle modification. She uses nutritional therapies, immunotherapy, tailored herbalism, and biofeedback in her practice. She also includes physical medicine such as soft tissue massage, trigger point release, muscle energy stretching, spinal manipulation, and hydrotherapy as part of her naturopathic practice.
