Psychiatric Care

Providers

Explanation

We believe that mental health is a multidimensional experience requiring a holistic consideration of the individual. Our care is client-centered and patient-led, focusing on building strong, trusting therapeutic relationships. Rather than viewing you simply as a list of diagnostic criteria, we spend extensive time during assessments to understand you as a whole person.

Our treatments are rooted in a non-judgmental, safe environment where decisions are research-based and mutually agreed upon. We pride ourselves on empowering and educating you to make informed decisions about your mental health journey.

What to expect

Your journey with our psychiatric team is designed to be collaborative and thorough:

  • Initial Evaluation: The first visit is typically a 60-minute comprehensive interview and assessment. This time is used to explore your history, current symptoms, and your unique goals for wellness.

  • Collaborative Planning: By the end of your initial visit, we begin to map out a personalized plan that may include a combination of therapy and medication management.

  • Follow-Up Visits: Return visits are generally 30 minutes and focus on monitoring your progress, managing medications, and providing ongoing therapeutic support.

  • Integrative Coordination: We frequently collaborate with your other medical and mental health providers—both inside and outside our clinic—to ensure a seamless and holistic approach to your care.

Patients who may benefit

Our holistic psychiatric services are designed for individuals seeking a comprehensive approach to mental wellness. You may benefit from this care if you are looking for support with:

  • Specific Conditions: Trauma and PTSD, anxiety and depressive disorders, substance abuse, and mood disorders such as bipolar disorder.

  • Life Transitions: Postpartum and pregnancy-related mental health care, or managing intense work and life stress.

  • Alternative Interests: Individuals who are cautious about traditional medications or those interested in exploring alternative treatment options.

  • Integrative Needs: Patients with neuropsychiatric symptoms related to chronic conditions who want to restore emotional balance through a variety of modalities.
